Happy New Year everyone!!!! It has been a really long while, but I am back to share more about my recent holiday with my Family <3
A few months ago I went to Japan during the early summer, around July 2016 with my friends and this time after about five months, I went back with my family for WINTER. The trip has its own charm mainly because I went to different parts of Japan, including Hokkaido (Stay tune for my next video blog).
This video was filmed during the first leg of our trip in Tokyo before we embarked to different parts of Japan. The place that we went to are the following:
- Tokyo Tower
- Disneyland
- Ikebukuro (Pokemon Centre)
- Sensoji Temple
- Akihabara (Anime District)
- Shibuya
Honestly speaking I visited more places this time around as compared to my last visit, because we stayed longer in Osaka back then. Tokyo itself has a lot to offer but of course it all comes down to your interest.
If you ask me what is my favourite place this time, its gonna be Tokyo Tower & Disneyland. I have been to Disneysea previously and I thought it was interesting but nothing beats the original. Tokyo Tower on the other hand was amazing. The view of it alone was mesmerising. This is the first time I went up close and personal to the tower (which I kinda regretted not doing last time).
As for the weather, it varied from -2 to about 10 degrees, although it is not my first time experiencing Winter, but it has been a long while. The food on the other hand never fails to disappoint. We practically raided the convenience stores for food, and I have always loved their Onigiris and wide variety of drinks, not to forget the ramen, which was everywhere! Buying hot coffee from vendo machines along the streets does help in coping with the weather. Wearing a mask is also a good way to go, especially when it was soooo windy!
So enjoy the video, and believe me Japan has its own charm, even for the second time around.
Stay tune for 2 more videos!
