Sauteed fresh clam with garlic and parsley in white wine sauce

Hey there foodie!

When Dining in a new restaurant, I always keep it safe by ordering something that I am pretty familiar with, be it just the ingredients or the entire dish itself. That would be my deciding factor, if I should come back and try more of their food on their menu. Since, it was my first time to eat at Boston Seafood Shack (At starvista) after it has been “upgraded” to restaurant from a fast food chain.

I chose this very simple and yet delicious dish, A la Vongole which has a short definition of Sauteed fresh clam with garlic and parsley in white wine sauce on their menu.

I feel that this is pretty much a well-made dish with an unexpected amount of heat, the sauce was well-coated on each strand of the pasta. And the garlic flavor was just right. I would love have a stronger clam flavor though and a little less of the heat. (Don’t get me wrong, I love spicy foods! But the level of spiciness on this pasta was just too much for me to handle.

Overall, a lovely dish to try and the portion was worth it for $10 sgd.

Ingredients based on my observation: Linguini pasta, olive oil, garlic, white wine, clam, chili and parsley.
