Hello!!!
It has been a really long time since I last blogged, and I apologise for it but nevertheless I AM BACK (for now..). Enough with the introduction, let's get started with my "Short & Sweet" blog post all about Father's Day.
This year's celebration was extra special because we celebrated with both my Dad & Tatay, and it has been years since we were together for this event. Back then I did not really realise how precious those moments are, being able to celebrate with the important people in your life and being with them physically. Living in Singapore had me at a disadvantage when it comes to this kind of things, but heck, Philippines is just a plane ride away! LOL.
Anyways, we had a very chill and relaxing staycation at Marina Bay Sands (MBS), and yes it is my first time here despite the fact that I live in Singapore. My grandparents really did enjoyed the whole thing, and it was pretty much a relaxing atmosphere. Swimming by the pool, eating good food and enjoying the beautiful night view of Singapore skyline, the whole package! And I had my first trip in
side the Casino (LOL, not a fan but it was interesting), the whole time Tatay and I were just walking around and watching but we did bet and yeah, we kinda won? Anyways, it was really cool to see all those things and despite Tatay's effort to explain the games it just sounds so complicated and blurry to me, I guess I am not really into gambling which is a good thing btw.
If there is a life lesson that I would like to share to all of you in this post, it is to SPEND AS MUCH TIME AS YOU HAVE WITH YOUR FAMILY. The clock is ticking, and who knows when will be the next time. We are busy with our lives and establishing our future but as we grow don't forget our parents & grandparents are also growing old. If you are with your grandparents most of the time YOU ARE VERY LUCKY.
I'll end my blog post with this..... #FamilyLove
xoxoCheska
