Take a break from having sinful food this holiday season and choose greens! =)
I feel that every restaurant offers different types of salad, but as you guys know, I am faithful to my Caesar Salad (CS), and since they have one, I gotta try it! =))
This isn’t your typical (CS), the greens and meat are different. Only the dressing is supposedly the same. Instead of romaine, this salad has other greens such as Baby beet greens, Mizuna, combination of oakleaf and looseleaf lettuce, thinly sliced onions and cherry tomatoes. Served with shrimp that is seasoned perfectly and grilled to perfection!
I must say the shrimp was the star of this dish, I would love it more if they had served the salad tossed with a little bit of the dressing first and just gave us more of the dressing for those who prefer more. This is because the utensils that they provide couldn’t be much of a help to evenly toss the dressing. Which means you might end up having to just dip your greens onto the sauce, or if you choose to drizzle it over, you’ll find that some of your greens might have been completely coated with the dressing.
Overall, i came to a conclusion that this is pretty much an average salad for me, I really loved the shrimp but I don’t really like the way it is served and the greens for me are too bitter, it’ll be nice if they had other ingredients to balance it out, (eg. Corn maybe? Or other lightly tasting greens, romaine or your typical lettuce) and some croutons for texture.
Price: $10 sgd
