Hey there! Monica here :> It’s been a while since we last posted a make-up review so we thought why not do now! Today’s review is going to be on this Rimmel Provocalips. I do not intend this review to be long winded and so I’ll just jump right in on the important points ;) Oh and I’ll divide it into different sections and I’ll write in point form so it is easier to read :>
I have 3 shades:
730 Make your Move (Peachy Nude)
230 Kiss Fatal (Vampy Plum)
310 Little Minx (Bright Fuchsia Pink)

Formula:
Lip Colour (Step 1):
Very liquid-y but the texture is really smooth (Ensure to hold the product properly, it can spill)
Needs some time to set and along the process it can get really tacky
it smells like plastic/chemicals
once it sets/dries, on its own it is transfer proof (ensure to apply evenly and stretch your lips a little bit so the colour fills the lines and it won’t crack after it dries). Dries to a matte finish (just the application of the lip colour)
The first point of fading is from the inner mouth
Lock &Shine (Step 2):
Thicker formula and has a balmy feel onto the lips
Does not impart any colour
Looks shinny upon application and fades throughout
Smells really GOOD like a good blend of fruity and floral notes.
Longevity:
I did not wear it for the full 16 hours but it lasted on me looking fairly decent (no bleeding and the colour is still generally even) for at least 8-10 hours
Highly depends on the type of food eaten/ how many times you eat with this lipstick on.
Packaging:
Longer than usual lipsticks but it is thinner.
Secured that the products won't spill
Very sturdy

Pros:
Long lasting lip colour
Easy Application
No need for reapplication if applied evenly at first
Good selection of shades
Cons:
Very Hard to Remove (Need an oil-based make up remover)
Could look dry on really dry lips
Doesn’t stay very long if you’ve been eating oily food
Overall Thoughts:
I love this lip product! If only these were reasonably priced and easily available in our local drugstores I might have hoarded more! There is a pretty good selection of colours to choose from and the formula is amazing! Perfect for those days you need a long lasting lipstick!
