Hey there! Monica here!! :>
Did you guys expect me to wear something like this? Oh sure you do! Polka dots of course ;)
This dress is just one of my “polky dress” (as what I usually call ‘em), which sadly, I couldn’t wear to church cos of the length (Dang!). But I thought it’ll be cute to wear casually outside, meeting my friends or just heading to town. =)
This coral dress with white polka dots on it is made of a really soft and stretchable material, making it so comfortable to wear. It has like a garter belt around the waist, so if you want to show off your curves a little you can tighten it a little bit and tie a cute bow behind (or in front, whichever way you prefer) ;) This may look like a typical dress; however it’s the cutting which makes it a little more unique. The front and back cutting’s look like a smooth U, meeting at the two sides of your thighs, making the length at your thigh part shorter. I feel that this cutting gives an illusion of “sexier” thighs even though I am not blessed with it =))
Since I always go for the safe colours like brown, I paired this dress with my brown strappy flats (which I have used a ton, I know!) and dark brown structured shoulder bag. Doesn’t mean I only have to go for the same shade of brown right? So that’s one thing I love to do to make “safe” colours a little less uninteresting, I play with different shades to give more life to the overall outfit.
