Hello Cheska here! :)

Sorry for the super delayed monthly highlights, but nevertheless here it goes…

April was a pretty busy month for me, I am currently working part-time to make use of my free time HEHE. Anyways to summarize my April, it was BUSY-HAPPY-EXCITING.

First the ‘HAPPY’ part, I kinda had the time to go out with my friends even after work. And I finally got to try the ever-famous TimHoWan dimsum place. It was good overall and do check out my #FoodPorn reviews on some of the food there! I also met new people at work which was kinda interesting since almost all of us went to the same school but apparently we never saw each other before which is kinda ironic LOL. Oh and it was my ‘Baby Bros’ birthday month we had two celebrations one during his actual birthday and the other one when my mom got back from Germany. Oh… yes my mom went there for like a week and went back with loads of FOODS! HAHAHA Yes I kinda pigged-out this month but c’mon who can say no to chocolates…pretzels and german franks?! HAHAHA. Not me that’s for sure! The second celebration was in some hotel buffet, but nothing special with the food although it was comparable to Holiday Inn so I won’t blabber much about it. So yeah the fun part was pretty much about food!

Next up ‘EXCITING’, there were many reasons that made me smile this month but I can pick two that really made my month an exciting one! First was when I received the details for my GRADUATION! And when I went together with my friends to collect our robes! It was pretty much exciting and surreal because in less than a month we can official call ourselves ALUMNI of our previous school! As for the second reason this is pretty much the most nerve-wrecking part of my month…. I got called for an interview in one of the Universities that I applied to. It was so unexpected as I did not really pinned so much hope for them to even consider my application. It was overwhelming and at the same time it made me thought of life and my ideal career path. When I went for the said interview I just did my very best and besides being called for one was already a privilege and a blessing. As for the result…. I will share it my MAY HIGHLIGHTS.. hehe.

So in conclusion April was almost ordinary except for the fact that I made life changing decisions and I guess I’ve thought about life more than I used to. I realized my life goal and my real ideal career path, I never thought I will be one of those people who did not know what to do because I’ve always thought I had life figured out, but I guess I am just like everybody else. We do not know what life has in store for us but being ready and open minded to things will really help pave the way. So yeah, that was my April.

Hey there! Monica here!! :>

The 4th month of the year has ended and summer has finally begun! April was generally a good month for me :”) and I hope for you guys too! On 1st April marked our 6th Month in the blogging world (& no this is not an April fools’ joke heehee) and we had our first Blog-collaboration with Anico of Burning Splashes for a 2 part summer-themed #OOTD post. We had fun doing it so we hope she did too =), If you missed it, here’s a Quick Review =)

The 2nd week of April was the freshmen orientation programme (FOP) week, which of course we did not participate/attend to, as we are already unofficial “alumnae”. However, the highlight was that, the “Welcome Banners and signage and booth backdrops” used for the entire orientation week had my face/s on it! HAHA! (Vain much?) But it was exciting as boboy’s face was also there. HAHA! So yea, even though I did not attend school I felt like a big part of this year’s FOP, as I know some freshmen too! Yay! We were also the header for SP’s website for almost a month =).

And here is one my BIG NEWS this month..*drum rolls please!!.. I have received an acceptance offer from NUS!!! Yeyeyeyy!!! It really came as a surprise for me, as I felt like I have been waiting for a looooong time. It took a lot longer than my peers who applied for the same course as their first choice, as for me I applied for Pharmacy as my first and Chem as my second. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get in to my first choice but STILL, I was able to get into my 2nd choice. This is totally fine! I felt that this is where God is bringing me and this is the path that I should be going. God has his perfect time and I really felt guilty for doubting in Him. Just when I was about to lose hope and stop hoping that I’d get in (any local university), a message from NUS for me to check my status came and voila! I must admit that this is a dream come true for me. PRAISE THE LORD! :”) I am beginning to be nervous seeing the package and knowing that it was going to be another chapter of my life.

That same week, my parents celebrated their 25th Wedding anniversary =) Nothing so special, as we just had an intimate dinner with our closest friends, My dad’s planning great surprise that would hopefully push through the next month =) I will share it with all of you of course!! :>

Actually there were so many happenings on the 3rd week of April, which includes my Pay-Day Treat and Good Friday (apart from my NUS acceptance and Parents’ Anniversary).

On the 4th week of April, My Friends, Cheska, Boboy, Ryan,(Kate wasn’t able to join us), and I have collected our Graduation robe! It was also the first time we met up after our last exam paper! That was over a month! Oh, it felt really good though we only had a couple of hours to catch up, it sure was a good one. And we would definitely see each other again for our Grad Photo-shoot =)

This month appeared to be a long one, as there’s a fifth week, but Cheska and I ended our April on a productive note, =)) as we attended a benefit workshop, which we’ll be posting a separate blog about it so I shouldn’t blabber about it.

April has been a wonderful and blessed month for my family and I, and if there is a month that I have been looking forward to, that has to be MAY (Apart from December of course). There will be loads of stuff going on and I can’t wait to share and update with you guys! <3 Have a lovely and blessed May ahead! =)
