One word…HEAVEN! Finally I got to try the most soothe after dim sum place here in Singapore (it originated from Hong Kong). I have always wanted to give it a try but the long queue always discourages me, but surprisingly when my friend and I tried the branch at Westgate… there was no queue at all! Okay, maybe it is because we went there at around 2-3 pm on a weekday afternoon.

This first dish is one of their ‘Big 4 Heavenly Kings’, so I take it as their bestseller. I think the best thing about this dish is the bun itself, it was baked to goodness that made it a little bit crispy and it has a pinch of sweetness on it. The BBQ Pork served as the filling of the bun and it is also good, however it is not as savoury-sweet as the typical bbq pao filling. The plus factor is the fact that the bun and the filling complemented each other. They are typically served in 3 pieces per serving, which is enough if you want to make room for their other dishes in your stomach. So there is no doubt that it is worthy of the Micheline Star Dim Sum recognition. If you have yet to try, go ahead and have a go on it! The food is up to standard, with efficient service from the staff and it has no service charge at all! Hence, a practical eat-out place with friends and family.
