Cheska's Highlights:
Hi guys!!!! Cheska here!!!! So for my March Highlights … I am going to talk about my last days as a polytechnic student (ahwwww) and of course the things that I did during my first month of holidays!!! And yes I’ve been waiting for this day since forever… LOL.
In the beginning of March I took my final exams… and oh boy, I will really miss the mugging period. Yes, I am one of those students who just study right before the exams so I have to ‘compress’ one semester worth of lectures in my brain.. HAHAHA! I had a few nostalgic moments in my school so I took pictures of the library while I was spending my last study night there and of course my school! Time flies…. Then a day after my last paper we had a class outing at Sentosa!!! YEY to the beach and the sand!!! And to those sinful foods! I had fun playing under the sun with my classmates and ‘swimming’ in the beach here in Singapore for the very first time after my almost 6 years of stay here! I am such loser in that sense! LOL. Nevertheless that day was really fun, especially those funny yet serious conversations we had that night. I mean despite the fact that we might not see each other again as a class before and after graduation, those last moments were really memorable.
After that I had a series of couch potato moments at home just to catch up with the books, series, movies and mangas that I have been reading. One of the things that I missed was going to the movie theater to watch, and so I did catch up on that as well. In fact I watched Divergent and Captain America within a week I guess, LOL.
Of course I did spent some quality time with my family and friends, I mean now that I have the luxury of time I might as well make the most out of it. I went to the River Safari for the second time with my mom and siblings, it was fun but the downside was… it rained! So we did not managed to ride the boat! Dang! I wanted to do that because its gonna be the first but ohh well there is always a next time! Another family outing at East Coast Park, my family is not really an outdoor type but on rare occasions we try to go to the park or to the beach just to cycle and eat. Yes, food is biggie for my family! LOL. I also spent time with my friend Tongerzz, we did some random shopping, eating and movie outings! We are just so unpredictable in that way.. HAHAHA. Oh and a friend of mine from the Philippines visited! Migz and his family went here for a few days and luckily my exams were already over! Although we did not managed to hang out for a long time I did helped him tour around Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and I am really happy that he managed to talk to the professors and some students who also took part in some competition back home. Well, I am happy for him and I am looking forward to seeing my other friends real soon!
OHHHH! I went to the Earth Hour event with Tong! DANG!!! I cannot even describe the feeling when I saw Andrew Garfield and Emma Stones up close and personal! The feeling was ‘asdfghjkl’ YEAH, if you can interpret that! HAHAHA! Anyway I do not need to say much but I was really happy and that was one of my fan-girling moments! So looking forward to the Amazing Spiderman 2 this May!
Lastly, I AM OFFICIALLY GRADUATING!!! Yes I got my final results and it was good! I am satisfied…. So looking forward to next month! I am happy that all my efforts finally paid off and I hope to get into a local university! Really praying hard for that! So pray for us…. And wish us all the best for our future after this graduation!
Just a short side note… I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE ENDING OF HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (HIMYM)!!!!! Yes that was an intense emotion! I love the show c’mon! Whoever watched it will surely love it! I don’t want to dig into it because I still haven’t got over the fact that… well… it was disappointing! The ending that they showed was the perfect ending if and only if they stopped at season 2!!! But they prolonged it until season 9 and the characters evolved and so is the plot… but…. I don’t want to be a total spoiler but just get the hint! If you haven’t watched the series, I still encourage you guys to do so! You can get some life lessons and hysterical laughter…
Before I end my blog, I would like to share some realizations that I made this month. Despite the long mile that you will have to walk and the detours that you will talk if you set your sight right through your desired destination, you will get there! It may take a while but that time has to be well spent for experiences and realizations! I don’t want to get all so dramatic, but seriously don’t rush things just take it slow because time will catch up with you and so are the chances.
PS Of course thank you to those who supported us this month!!!! Those who read our blog posts be it out of curoisity, boredom or just loyalty as a friend of family... STILL A HUGE THANK YOU! This blogging experience is really fun for us and the best part is we get to share somethings to you guys! So please don't get tired of reading our blogs despite the long posts! HAHAHA! Love you all! From moon and back! :D
<3 Cheska

Monica's Highlights:
Hey there! Monica here!! :>
& we meet again! First of all I want to let you guys know (well, as I have mentioned in my Collab #OOTD this April 2014, we have been blogging for 6 months!! Our blog is a half year-old and it feels incredibly awesome! Though we are not sure if people actually read our complete blog posts and all that jazz, we still feel that sense of accomplishment as we are doing what we enjoy doing and every time we randomly visit our blog (and yes we do that HAHA), to just check out what we have been posting HAHA. Seeing the number of entries and actually going back to each blog post never fails to remind us what we‘ve been through and also seeing the number of people who visit our blog. THANK YOU BIGTIME =)
I would consider this blog as one of the best decisions I have made in my life (No Exaggeration intended haha!), as this gives us an AVENUE to truly express ourselves in a way or another. Though not many people would be so interested or bother, but the real deal here is, it is about US, sharing our likes and dislikes and Ups and downs. And Cheska and I truly appreciate those of you who spare us some of your precious time, tuning in for each posts :”)
Alright enough of the drama, and moving on to what was up with me this March 2014.
Well, the first week was the last week that we had to be in school (for now) as it was our last exams! I think every graduating student would agree with me, how splendid it was to step out of the examination room/hall knowing that you would be free from textbooks and notes, you didn’t have to burn midnight oil and you would have all the time you want for yourself, and guess what? “Hell week is over!!”. So yea that was exactly how I felt then!
It has been a tradition that every after exams, my friends (Ryan, Boboy, Kate, Cheska) and I would go out to “celebrate” and this time we wanted to do something we have never done for the past 3 years together. And that was to catch a movie together! =)) But the thing was, our last paper which ended around 3pm ++ fell on a Wednesday and it so happened that it was Ash Wednesday too, therefore we had to attend the mass at night, leaving us with a little time to finish a whole movie :| So we opted for the usual, BUFFET =)) We lovveeee buffet and we loveee to eat! So we headed to the nearest buffet resto? and spent the entire time there =)
Since our holidays had begun, Cheska and I had planned a lot of things for our blog which you’ll know eventually, and as mentioned it has been 6 months so we wanted to try out new things and incorporate some new stuff to share with you (we pretty much have started as yes, it is already April!) ;)
Oh and I have been planning my younger sister’s 18th birthday party, with the help of a lot of people, so for the coming days and month I’ll be busy preparing everything related to that :> I am actually getting excited because my cousins will be coming!! Yeyeyey!! Ches has been a great help as she helped us with the indoor photo-shoot! Yay! Thanks Ches! <3 Ches, boboy and I sure make a great team together. HAHA! And we’ll see where it’ll bring us, as we all know everything big starts as a hobby :>
I started and finished watching How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM) this month as Cheska and Boboy won’t stop talking about it and kept on telling that I should watch it, so I finally did and I got hooked, though I must say it was because I was curious what was the hype about? And yea I totally get it =)) I was one of those people who mourned as it ended. I just gotta say that Season 9 has to be my favorite season of all and I am not happy with the ending!! I felt like I have learnt and realized so much stuff from that show and every time I would remember the ending it kinda pisses me off =)) Nonetheless excluding the ending, it is indeed worth it to watch =)
A day before my first day of work (yes I have been working for 4 weeks now, so far so good), my friends (Rilette, lazel, yna) and I went to Universal Studios (USS)! (FINALLY IT HAPPENED!!!) We have been planning about this Girls day-out since forever, and I am not sure when it was but I am sure that we have already gotten the tickets months before, it was just that we were all busy with different stuff so we could hardly find a perfect time too. We planned a specific date and the next thing we know we had to re-schedule it. & so the day had arrived! BUT IT WAS POURING! We were totally bummed out, as for the past few days or even weeks; it was not raining AT ALL. And the rain had to shower on that day, not just any rain. It was raining cats and dogs! & so we initially decided to just hang out, have a long lunch and ditch it as we would not enjoy as well. We were even checking out other appointments we could cancel/postpone just to be able to go to USS (by the end of March, as our tickets were about to expire). & so we just walked around and see what else we could do there, till we walked along the gate and the rain had stopped. Even though we were only left with almost 2.5 hours to “enjoy” the rides, we still had lots of fun, laughter and pictures =)) We had our dinner at this diner inspired fast food, where we had huge burger!!
& so the last week of March was spent on doing last minute touch ups with our layout, we hope you guys liked it as much as we do! Haha!
So yea that about sums up my March 2014, Hope you had a wonderful March and let’s all make April a blast! ;) God bless everybody
!Oh, and I am really saving the sad at the end, not to spoil the mood but, I am deeply saddened by the MH370 incident, I don’t know what or how to feel, all I know is that the family and relatives of the passengers need everybody’s utmost support and prayers. We have no idea what they are going through at the moment. If only there are other ways we could help, *sigh. Keep safe everybody and always pray for everybody else’s safety.
