Hey There! Monica here!! :>

& i am bringing you guys a quick (?) food review hehee ;)

Royal Pudding from Paris Baguette - There are 3 different flavours, Original, Mango and Coffee. First of all, these are sooooo good! But depending on your sugar tolerance, it could be on the very sweet side. The texture in general is absolutely awesome. If you prefer puddings that are slightly firm, these would not be for you, but if you want your pudding to have that smooth and soft, light silk tofu texture, then you’d definitely like these!

Original flavour: It just has the “caramel”, (melted sugar) at the bottom, and just their plain pudding (The white layer), which tastes like a normal but very delicate pudding.

Mango: Half original- half with the mango flavour with a thin layer of mango flavoured gelatin on top.

Coffee: Half original- half with the coffee flavour with a thin layer of coffee flavoured gelatin on top.

So I think you’re supposed to mixed it up, dig in the caramel at the bottom and mix it with the rest of the pudding. But I find it to be overly sweet when I do this, so I tend to just eat everything that is on top of the caramel and leave it out.

I would say that if you are a Filipino, the original flavour tastes so much like Leche Flan but a lot lighter and could be sweeter and so much softer. (DUH?). While the mango, tastes surprisingly good, my problem with most mango flavoured dessert is that, it tastes so artificial! But I didn’t really picked it up from here (I’m still unsure if they actually used artificial flavouring or whut). The coffee flavour tastes more like cappuccino, which i honestly prefer and making it more dessert suitable, than your typical strong coffee. *wink!

We got this as a present from Aixia (Boboy's sister) Thankieee <3, and if I’m not wrong each costs about 3-4 sgd. Look at the glass bottles! You could totally keep and recycle them! So pretty!

Make sure to try these when you drop by Paris Baguette and tell me what you think about it ;)
