Monica's 11th #OOTD: Black and Gold Themed Party

So, on the 8th of March, My closest friends and fave twins celebrated their 21st Birthday party. Yay! I love attending birthday parties because of two main reasons. First, is because it’s a celebration of life and second is that, it serves as a break from all the stress haha! (Party woot woot!) Oh, and it is also a good reason to dress up, (Oh well, that’s 3 reasons in total, my bad haha!)

Oh and their motif was black and gold or black. In that case, we girls should have our favourite and most trusted Little Black Dress (LBD) ready in our closet. And with help of gold accessories you are good to go. Well, that was my initial plan; however I remembered that I bought this dress which I got from our school’s flea market. I found this dress on the clearance rack, and it was a total steal! It was really well made. I felt that it was meant to be mine, as I didn’t even try it on and yet it fitted me perfectly! Hehee.

It is just a flowy black dress, with gorgeous black embroidery looking on the cream top part of it. It looks very elegant and the details made it look more sophisticated (I think? Haha! Maybe for me then). Since there’s already too much going on at the top part of the dress, I did not want to overdo it by wearing a necklace; instead, I stacked up several gold and black bracelets and wore a simple pair of earrings.

Well this Chloe clutch must be very-very familiar with all of you, as I have used this a TON! But what can I say, apart from it looks pretty well with this outfit, I’ve only got a few clutches to use. So yeap! hooray for a versatile fashion item! =)

Nonetheless, we totally had a lot of fun at the party and once again, thank you Sha and Su <3 Loveyou both!
