Hey there! Monica here!! :>

Happy 2014 once again! Haha! I don’t know when will I stop saying this, but this is really my first #OOTD post for the year 2014. Though I just recently uploaded my Birthday outfit, it was of course taken last year!

I know I can use the “New-Year” as an excuse, why I chose to wear polka dots but naah, you guys know how much I adore polka dots! So new-year or not, I’d be wearing it yo!

I’ve had this crop top for a while now, I got this during the crop-top craze season at a flea market for a really good deal and I was hesitant at first cos I heckka know when and what to wear it with, though I was pretty sure, I’d love to wear it with a skater skirt.

A black skater skirt would definitely look good with this, but I feel that I’ve worn it a lot already =)) So I was looking at my closet and I found this acid-wash denim skater skirt from cotton on which for me, matches pretty well!

I could totally wear this crop top as a crop top but I am not that confident to show my belly HAHAHAH! (maybe next time, when I have fulfilled my new year’s resolution, hmmm I wonder when will that be =))). So I made sure that the top and skirt overlap and I am not showing any skin. =)) HIHIH.

Of course my 2013 addiction has to be incorporated as somethings just couldn’t be changed that easily and not everything has to be new this new year, hence I chose to wear my headband/bow or whatso, this is actually the ribbon which came with the Victoria’s secret gift box from my aunt last Christmas. I have wanted a good piece of ribbon, for quite some time now (well, ever since I watched Matilda again! Haha) I find that it really adds a different girly vibe in any outfit and it was a pleasant surprise when this ribbon fit my head perfectly!

As much as I wanted to put a necklace on, I couldn’t find any that would complement this look, thus I decided to skip it and I just wore my gold casio watch and stacked some thin gold bracelets and a bangles and a pair of gold studs.

As for the shoes, I have been using this red wedges, and if you can’t tell yet, I have been loving red recently especially for the lips! This outfit would really be cute on anyone, the colour combinations are such that it would look good on all skin tone and types! Yay!

Oh and I know it is not obvious here but I have a new hair colour and I’ve cut bangs! Which I’m still trying to work on how I would want to style it, so I tried my best to keep it at the side for this look cos it’s the safest! Haha! See you in our next post!

Here's my HAIRSTORY.

See you in my next post! :)
