Here’s my overdue Birthday Blog Post! Sorry it took me a while before I got myself to sit down and do this; I’ve been fairly busy recently. But here it goes! Yey!

First of all let me start by thanking the people who made the surprise possible and pulled it off very well! Of course, Boyboy and Cheska, my sibs and friends, Lazel, Rilette and Pat, Sha n Su, Rina, Kate, Vivian and Patsy! Thank you guys so much, I really appreciate it <3

Okay so on the day of our prom (December 12, 2013) In the midst of preparing for the event, I was surprised by the people mentioned above =)) they came to the hotel where we checked in, and surprised be with banners, balloons, cake and party poppers! I literally had no idea about it! I couldn’t believe that my sibs got there, kate was there and our friends Vivian and patsy knew about it! I really felt so blessed to have those people who took the time to prepare and gave me a birthday surprise! Though I didn’t really looked surprise, I really was! =))( I was just thinking of my younger sibs who were left at home) HMM No wonder Cheska was acting a lil weird prior to that HMM (haha!).

We planned a timetable to follow for the whole day, filming video, and doing shoots, one of the agendas were to film a get-ready-with-us prom edition, after our outfit shoot and we have prepared everything for filming, Ches was acting a lil weird “delaying” the video taking, when she was trying to be “On-time” earlier. But nah, I was thinking maybe she was just tired cos I was haha! So I didn’t really bother.

We were “filming” half way and I have started doing my eyeshadow, which is why in some of the photos I looked kinda funky, when ches asked me to do my make up near the door where a huge mirror was, I went thinking she was filming me applying my eyeshadow when the doorbell rang and poof! They were there! Hihi. It was a good surprise I should say :”) I kept on saying “Are you serious?” I think 10 times! =))) I really didn’t have any idea!

Fast forward to my real birthday, well we didn’t really do anything special, it was just an ordinary day for me, I received lots of greetings but I couldn’t really celebrate cos we were waiting for my dad to be home. He went to Bangkok for a few days and there was no way we could contact him apart from whenever he could get a net connection so he was unreachable and we didn’t know what time would he be back. Only when we got a text message from him then I felt relived. It felt that I’ve gotten the best present. HAHA! Yes I am an overly attached daughter/sibs, I always feel insecure when one of my family isn’t home yet =))

My dad was sweet enough to drop by a shop there and got me a present =), little did he know, seeing him home safely was better than any other material gift.

In the afternoon, boboy came to my house with a HUGE PRESENT! I was literally, hysterically panicking when I unwrapped it! I kept on telling him “seriously?” I think I said that more than ten times HAHA! And again he said I didn’t look surprised, well I was but I was more worried thinking how much it cost him =))

On the 31st of December, I received a present from my girlfriends Chun Jia and Ethelynne! They were so sweet to get me present, totally unexpected! I got them a little Christmas present, and I’d be shy to pass it to them cos, it’s nothing compared to what they’ve given me.

We just had a simple dinner out (Bottom right picture) and yea, that’s how I spent my 21st birthday. Just the way I wanted it. A simple gathering with the people I love most :”)

There are so many things I have to be thankful for, but I know no words can describe how grateful I am to God for giving me so much blessings, that I could not ask for more. Whenever I think of any trials that He has given me, I always end up smiling cos; I can’t think of any that he didn’t help me to get through it. Thank you Lord and Jesus for surrounding me with the best company and for blessing me with a wonderful family, and above all for letting me see and experience all these cos of the life you have lent me =) Thank you for touching my life and for always being there. You are one great and awesome God ;)
