December Highlights 2013 <3

Hello!!!! Happy New Year everyone!!!! A few hours from now and its gonna be 2014!!! WOOH! But before the year-ends let’s do some recap on the main highlights of my December 2013!

This month was both hectic and fun, the fun part is due to our Prom Night, which by the way was a blast and all. Ohhhh we also had a super SURPRISE birthday ‘party’ for Monica, LOL. She was surprised, I guess… For those of you who know her you will know how hard it is to keep her in the dark, coz she can practically feel when something is up. But nevertheless she did not have any idea so it was a success! I won’t talk much about the prom night coz we already did a blog about that anyways…. Moving on….

December started off as a stressful month, although not as much maybe its because I did not really study as much., LOL. The first week of the month was our mid-semestral test that’s why we rarely updated the site. Anyways it went well I guess, or that’s how I want to think about it before I get my results back HAHAHA. And of course school break will not be complete without any HOMEWORKS!! Yes, we have loads including our final year project (FYP) that we have to do a report on and other formal reports for my other modules. Ohhhh well, so I literally took my time, HAHAHAHA. We submitted our report on Christmas Eve’s day and as for my other reports its still processing… HAHAHA. I wonder when will I ever finish those.

And now for some FUN….I did some Christmas shopping!!!!!! It is that time of the year that the joy of giving will dominate. I bought some presents for both my friends and family, coz I just love wrapping and putting gifts under our Christmas tree. It has been a while that we really celebrated Christmas Eve, coz we don’t really have that kind of celebration when we were in the Philippines and I celebrated my Christmas back home for the last 2 years. So it’s kinda fun to have succulent food for our Noche Buena and it is one of those rare occasions that eating after 8pm is legally right. We also did some exchange gifts and, man I love playing pranks with my siblings… As what they say you must rip the rewards for your hardwork and that’s exactly what I made them do. HAHAHAHA.

My family and I also completed the ‘Simbang Gabi’, it is a tradition back in the Philippines. We attended nine night masses in different churches in Singapore, and the crowd is really overwhelming ohhh they also gave out free porridge and sandwiches after each masses. So you can imagine how much porridge we consumed during those days LOL, I think I won’t have any for the next month or so… But it was a very special experience because I got to sing praises in tagalog and the Homily were in tagalog as well so the humour was there, not a single mass was boring, although we did not manage to get a sit inside the church for 8 nights, imagine that devotion. Another thing about this tradition is that you get to ask for a wish, and pray for that intention for nine nights. When I first completed the simbang gabi my wish was granted, and I am crossing my fingers for my wish this time around. And to top that experience we celebrated the first few hours of Christmas in Church as well while attending the midnight mass.

My sister also celebrated her birthday last 23rd of December, she didn’t wanna make a fuzz out of it so no grand celebration. But we did eat at her favorite fastfood…JOLLIBEE!!! She really loves that place, and no, she is not young anymore!!! HAHAHAHA! But its her joy, so just go with it. We also prepared a present for her, but just like the usual she had to look for it. I literally made it a treasure hunt for her… HAHAHA! C’mon that present is REALLY A TREASURE! Nevertheless, she liked it.

After Christmas we did our Post-Christmas shopping coz we didn’t want to beat the crowd so yuh. It has been a while since I last shopped for my stuff its kinda fun, therapeutic as what other girls may say. HAHAHA. And here comes New Year! Another event that made eating sinful stuff a justified ‘hobby’.

So I guess my recap will end here, sorry for the long flashbacks its just that December is really a special month for me. That’s why I want to keep you guys posted and updated on every significant thing. It’s gonna be 2014 soon so CHEERS!!! Have a good one guys!

HO-HO-HO-HO! Merry Christmas Everyone (It’s still Christmas!!) and A prosperous New year :D

There have been tons of things that happened this month! I’ll break it down for you guys!

Firstly, for the first week of December we had our last-mid semestral test, and yes it is finally over!! We are only left with our Final Year project and Exams before graduation knocks :”) Woot-woot! Reason to be excited yea!

And for the second week of December, the whole week was literally spent preparing for our CLS annual dinner and dance (Prom), I went shopping with Cheska for accessories and some Christmas gifts (But I did not have enough budget yet, so I was only able to get presents for 2 out of the long list I had =) ), of course prom on the 12th which we had a separate blog post up, with my birthday surprise from them (Detailed blog post will be posted under my birthday blog, soon!! Next week promise!). But thank you guys in advance for everything the time to plan and the presents! <3

The day after the prom, we (Rilette, Lazel, Yna, Grette and I) attended a debut party!!! Oh yess I love debut! It was Hannah’s debut, a fellow Filipino and friend from our secondary school. She’s finally a lady! And her theme was the same as mine (Hollywood). I have been missing out on a lot of debut parties, cos of the exams, so I was really excited to be able to attend and I actually felt so honoured to be the one of the chosen ones (Thanks Hannah for inviting us!!). My friends and I also find event like those as the best excuse to dress up and put on make-up (as we don’t do that all the time) Hehee.

We were so pathetic (in a funny way of course) as we were so broke that we didn’t know how and what to give her as a present. We have thought of gazillion ideas and we ended up with the best decision, which was to get her a Victoria’s Secret Set. We were crossing our fingers when my sis’ was paying using her card, haha! Yes we were that broke that they only had about $10 in their wallet and I didn’t even had any HAHA! OH mann that was one fun and heck of a night =))

The day after that (14th Dec) Boboy and I met up with my secondary school bestfriends Sha and Su, Rina with Shahiran! It was nice catching up with them :> and yes finally had a time to get together :”) we were both busy over the past few months that we didn’t get to meet up. But yes at least we finally did <3

And then my birthday dinner, nothing so special HAHA! Next was the Christmas shopping, we literally shopped the whole day that my legs were begging me to stop walking. But it was worth it <3 got the presents my parents and sibs have been wanting for a long time, nothing else was more fulfilling than that =) Christmas was spent with my awesome family with Ate Joy, kuya pot, CC and tito bryan. Lotsaa food and lotssa present oh yeah! Happy Birthday Jesus!! :>

And the last week of December was spent slacking here and there and doing bits and pieces of schoolwork.

Yesterday (December 20 2013) I recieved my birthday presents from my Girlfriends Ethelynne and Chunjia!! *Thank you guys so so much!!! They were so sweet and i was so touched, i mean the idea of them giving me something was already touching enough, but to actually get me something, and it was a lot of stuff that i love and i see myself wearing/using, definitely gonna do a blog post about it! <3 Thanks gurls!

OH AND LET ME TELL YOU GUYS! I have been working on a part of our Final year project Report for freaking 3 weeks now and until this say (31st December) I am not done yet! How about that? =)) Please pray for us that we’d finish it on time with the expected quality! Thankiee!!
