Hiiiii! As promised, this blog post will be dedicated to my Prom look I named,‘RB Glänzend’. The word glänzend is a German word that means ‘shinny’ which is by the way the theme of the party while RB stands for Red & Black, classy much? HAHAHA. Just a random name that I thought of when I saw my dress. Honestly speaking it was not really that difficult to think of an ideal look coz aside from bold colours, sparkly outfit is my kind of thing. To begin with let us talk about my dress, as what I mentioned the previous blog post it was the same exact dress that I wore for my sister’s debut party last year and it just so happen that it matches the theme for the party. This dress was inspired by several dresses that I found online and I just mixed and match those to and there goes the product of my pickiness! Just a disclaimer I DID NOT MADE THIS DRESS, it was tailored made though. That is why I was really praying hard that my size did not change coz alteration is just another headache. Nevertheless the highlight of this dress was the belt-corset, it can be detached and adjusted, I think the tighter the better for better curve emphasis. Of course the beaded pattern made it more glamorous. In addition to that it was a venus cut as I do not want to wear a tube, coz I find it too daring HAHAHA! The red feather earing that I wore was from Diva and the purpose was to make my look fiercer and bolder, added to that idea was the way that I styled my hair. I decided to go for curls and but I clipped my hair so that the curls will only lay at one side. Hence, my Black bejeweled necklace was more emphasized. I decided to wear my TIMEX Silver Dress Watch to match the whole outfit since it is a formal party after all, while my bracelet was a collection of black and gold beads. The bag that I used was a black leather bag with silver chains from NINE West, coz you can never go wrong with black. As for the shoes I wore my Red Pumps by Trash from Payless, which by the way killed my feet, LOL. For my make-up, I actually focused more on my eyeshadow, which was a mixture of red, silver and rose gold shade. The palette that I used was the; I <3 NYC Vol. III by Urban Decay. If you want to know more about the make-up look that I did for my Prom just comment down below and I will make a make-up tutorial about it or a review. The overall look is a mixture between; black, red, gold and silver, which is a bit different from the look that I had when I first wore this dress at my sister’s party. Nevertheless, I think I managed to achieve the fierce and classy look that I was aiming for, without spending so much, hahaha! That’s all for my Prom look, and remember you do not have to spending so much just to look glamorous and sparkling. <3 Cheska
