“Taylor is a sweet, floral-fruity fragrance with a woody base. It opens with alluring aromas of lychee, tangerine and magnolia petals, with peony, hydrangea and vanilla orchid in the heart and a base made of sandalwood, apricot nectar, cashmere musk and soft woods.” <Quoted from fragnatica.com>
To begin with, I must say that I adore Taylor swift’s music and her alluring charm. But I am not a cray-cray fan or should I say I don’t really consider myself as a “Swiftie/s”
As much as I love almost ALL of her songs, I can’t say the same for her perfumes. My sister is a big TSwift fan hence she has both Wonderstruck (which was actually a present from me hehee) and Wonderstruck Enchanted. But between the two, I see myself liking Wonderstruck enchanted more.
When news about this new Taylor by Taylor swift perfume came out, my sister was the most excited, DUH? She just couldn’t wait to get her hands on it. And when it was launched here in Singapore, Sephora was kind enough to give out free samples to its card holders, and Cheska and I were one of them.
So we got this tiny but cutie little sample, (1.5mL) and had the chance to try it. And so this review is based on my experience with the perfume.

First Impression:
I wasn’t fond of the smell at first; maybe I did not like its top note. There was a big difference between this perfume and the previous two. I thought it was too floral-like and n othing lady-like. But I must admit that when you let it stay for a little longer then you start to appreciate it.
It was a unique scent for me, pleasant smelling and very light but was not something that I would buy. It did not leave an impact on me that “I Should get this”.
But as mentioned earlier, my sister is obsessed with Taylor Swift, even without knowing how it is gonna smell like, she would buy it! And so tadaaa, she got the 100 mL! I can now give you more information and experience about it.
Packaging:
I honestly feel like this is not the most unique packaging I have ever seen, I feel that the previous two perfumes were more unique in a sense, however, I also think that this perfume bottle looks so precious and so posh, elegant and chic. The mixture of coloured print with the fake pearls gives me so much of the retro vibe, which in my opinion works. I know a lot of people say it makes it look a little cheap, but it works for me!
The bottle is made up of glass, and there is a round crystal like stopper, the pearls are actually detachable. It looks really pretty sitting on your vanity, but definitely not a good one for travelling, it is a little heavy, (I would suggest getting a portable perfume spray for travelling) & The box is in the same colour scheme as the perfume.

Formulation/Scent:
Some of the reviews I have read said that it smells or it resembles Jessica Simpson’s Fancy Love. Which I have not tried it myself, I actually thought that this scent is slightly unique, as I have not smelled anything like it. Apart from swatching lipsticks at Sephora, I like to take stroll at the fragrance section and grab a couple of smelling strips and just randomly pick up perfumes based on the brand and packaging of course haha!.
At first I said I would not buy this! But after a few times of trying it, it turned out to be an-almost favourite as well! This scent is very wearable daily; and realized that it is fruitier than floral with a hint of freshness. I could totally pick up the apricot which totally surprised me, as I do not really like the fruit by itself. People have complimented me when I was wearing this. And it doesn’t hurt others when they smell you! Have you guys ever experienced sitting with somebody that has a strong perfume that it hurts your nose so much?? Well, this doesn’t do that. It actually makes you sniff it even more =))

Longevity:
We all know that a major criterion for a good perfume doesn’t just depend on its scent but also on its longevity. How long can it actually last?
My sister has been using this perfume ever since she got it, and she would spray on her neck and on her clothes (2 sprays in total). She would leave the house at around 6 am for work and when she comes home at pass 6 pm; I could still totally pick up the scent! That is about 12 hours in total! Considering she had to run some errands and all those jazz!
I have been wearing this for the past couple of weeks, usually I would prefer body mists on a daily basis, but this perfume is just oh-so-lovely!!!! So I just had to use it as much as I could hehee! Hence, I have confirmed it myself that it lasts up to 12 hours or more! Plus a point isn’t?

Overall, this perfume is a big thumbs up and totally worth the money! If you do not want to commit in getting the full size, it is also available in 30 mL and 50 mL. It is also available in body lotion, bath gel, Hair mist and a roller ball! I mentioned earlier that “this is not something that I would buy. It did not leave an impact on me that “I Should get this”. But poor me, eating my words! I ended up really liking it. Opps NO! LOVING IT!
Where to get in SG: Sephora, and some SASA branch :)
