Last month we actually did a poll on which item/s do you want us to make a make-up review on….. and the obvious winner is none other than ….. EYESHADOWS!!!! And as promised here is my review on UD’s <3 NYC Vol. III that I just bought last month, although I think this item already came out a few months ago and it was a limited edition. Anyways here it goes….
This palette has a total of 16 different shades, and the colour theme is more of those ‘Night Party’ look. All the different shades were sparkling-glittery so it is good to use in both day and night. I used the ‘Last Call’ and ‘Snatch’ in my 3rd #OOTD: ‘Wicked Me’ to create a dark yet dominant look due to the red pigmentation.
These are my TOP PICKS for the this palette (Left to Right):
Last Call: I love the copper-red finish and since I don’t really like black or dark coloured shades this is a compromise, to emphasise my eyes.
Radium: The finishing is like ocean blue and it is best paired with a sparkling yet lighter shade such as Money. This is a perfect combination if you want to party all night J
Kush: I think this shade is the bridge between having a chic and refreshing look, it is good for both day and night get-away.
Rockstar: The dark purple finish of this shade made it a good alternative for the Last Call and it can be paired with its lighter shade counter part the Psyedelic Sister.
Two of the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils were also included in:
Ransom: The shade is in dark purple and is a good alternative for the cliché black eye pencil routine. I also tried this together with the Last Call and Snatch.
Zero: Of course you can never go wrong with a black eye pencil and the plus factor is that it is very pigmented and smudge-free.
Overall, this palette is really good and lived up to the expectation since it is a UD brand after all, the pigmentation is excellent, thus the rating 5/5. On top of that the packaging is really COOL with all those pop-ups, lightings and mirror, which made it handy. This palette is comparable with UD’s Vice II…
