Hey there! Monica Here!! :>
This is my take on a look when I want to wear a skirt but do not want to end up looking like a girly girl (HAHA) and do not want to commit full on. I thought that the printed crop top would really look good on black bottoms, as the graphic printed on it, has most blacks. The texture of this high-waisted skirt is totally awesome; it is stretchable and very comfy! And again, anything comfortable is my thing! & I think a basic black skirt is an essential in every girl's wardrobe! Doesnt mean that it is a skirt you always have to pair it with heels or flats!
You guys also know how in love I am with my Black vans, and I thought it would totally cut the girly-ness in this look (due to the skirt), as I am not up for that all the time =)) Pearls or studs? WHY NOT BOTH! =)) I went 50-50 for the accessories. The pearl bracelet and ring belong to the girly side of this look while the Silver studs bracelet belongs to the tomboyish side. You can add a cover upor an outerwear to elevate this look towards your preferred outcome, but since it is always warm here in SG, and i am one of those people who could not tolerate warm weather really well, i'd rather not add anything =))
Plus you guys would not believe how much this top and skirt cost me!! :> It was a total deal! :) Though i got the skirt and top on separate days :)
Printed Crop Top from H&M, Black Bandage Skirt from H&M, Black Canvas Era Vans, Pearl Bracelet and Ring from Diva, Stud Silver Bracelet from Rubi, Big white earings from the Philippines’ tiangge.
