Monica's 3rd #OOTD: 'White Top, BORING NOT.'

I am so excited to share this #OOTD post with all of you introducing one of my most favourite prints, well next to my most faves (Polka dots!!! And Stripes -- HOUNDSTOOTH ;) )

One of MY fashion rule of thumb is matching a print with anything plain (most of the time). Thus, this explains why I chose to wear this houndstooth printed shorts with a plain white top. As much as I would like to keep this look simple, I don’t want it to be BORING! So I decided to wear my all-time fave red belt and put on my current addiction: this super duper mega cute Fuschia Pink- polka dots Bunny-Ear-Bow-Wire headband (phew! That’s a mouthful)!!! I feel that it instantly adds a girly vibe on the entire outfit! Since I already took a step on looking a lil’ girly, I chose to wear red wedges instead of flats to finish up the whole look. I believe you can’t go wrong with any WHITE-BLACK AND RED combination.

I would totally wear this on days when I am in a rush and yet want to look a ‘lil put together. Apart from concealing my under eyes, doing my brows, eye-liner and mascara (which is why you can see my pimple scars from the 3rd picture :D) I just put on a bold berry-red lip colour which i think ties the whole look together, as I wanted to keep everything simple, quick and on-the-go.
